This is a yarn inspired project. I just couldn’t resist this yarn and when looking through my potential projects, this leapt out as a match. I’ve used the garter stitch collar detail that was on the crew neck pattern but adapted it with a garter stitch henley-v at the front. I’m knitting this on my new Harmony wood circulars and they are lovely.

So far, I’m not crazy about the lack of fitting details, which I noticed from looking at the photos. But I’ve never done a top-down anything, so I wasn’t prepared to ad-lib some short rows on my first try.
