Grabbed this yarn for a sock project to take on vacation. I’ve only made baby socks before, so I was pretty sure I could do this but it was all new.

I liked the pattern, but I wasn’t sure about the sizing; my gauge looked right but no matter what I did the size was just waaay to big. I ended up going down two sizes and the socks are still a bit baggy.

I also had some trouble with the pattern, partly from the size and gauge problem and partly just learning the ropes of sock making. The first sock took two and a half weeks and the second sock took only one.
