Entered the yarn I had left over from http://www.ravelry.com/projects/dgou/vintage-crocheted-bl... as a start.

Not yet sure what pattern I want to use.

After doing some swatching, decided on a pattern (and linked).

8mm hook and chain plying to triple the yarn thickness is giving a nice drape without making too heavy of a blanket (so far, knock wood)

Entered yarn I got from destashes here in Ravelry.

3 rows done.
After the first row, total weight is 20.6g including foundation chain.
After the second row, total weight is 36.3g.
After the third row, total weight is 52.1g.

Each row is shaping up to be just shy of 16g.
16g = 56yds.

100g/16g = 6.25rows per 100g skein/cake.

Took hiatus for Spinzilla, but back working on this now.

After 6 rows, total weight is 99.1g, with a 4.9g starting chain, that’s 15.7g row.

Measured this today.
47” wide.
28 rows = 17”

With help from a friend, decided to finish the pattern after the last white row with 11 rows of grey (as it was started) and 17 rows of blue, twice, then 11 more rows of grey to end.

Finished!
Ran out of yarn sooner than expected, but it is more than big enough for what I wanted. A bit on the heavy side:
66 rows at a total weight of 1037.9g = 15.73g/row.

33 rows of gray, 25 of blue, 8 of white.
Yardage above is by calculated weight, assuming each color is the same grams/yard.
