This is a fun design. I have a couple of regrets, but they all revolve around my choice of yarn…

I used a ‘found’ yarn whose color I adored.
I thought it was DK, but it is Aran. (Good thing I don’t get paid to think!)
It is 100% cotton

So while the color is beautiful, it is a heavier yarn than called for in the pattern. It is soft to work, should wear well and made a lovely jacket, but the physical weight seems too much for a 3 month size: it feels bulky. I think a cotton/acrylic blend or a bamboo yarn would have worked better.

I chose to add buttons, so worked yo, k2tog buttonholes on the 4th row of the right front band. The bands are 2rows mc, 1 Row CC, 1 Row MC, 1 Row CC, 2 Rows MC.

I used a 3-needle bindoff from the right side on the hood.
