me, my adopted auntie and ‘my friend joel’ are having a mini crochet~a~long this December.

i have not crocheted in half a year and this lovely shawl called my name. i am smitten by its lovely ways and it is a joy to make. i am making the small size for now but it may well become a medium but i am waiting to see how the yarn grows. i love the color and i love how quickly it grows.

finished my shawl on row 39. being made in thick yarn it is plenty big enough and i was concerned the next row with the increases and then the edging would make it too frilly. left it with the scalloped edging and i like it muchly. will block so it relaxes a little and then will get photos :) i am already planning my next one :)
