I’m using worsted with the bulky instruction. Seems to be working out ok as my ribbing band is just a tad bigger than the specified length and the girl I am making this for has a big head. :)

Turned out absolutely perfect with zero issues with the pattern. Unfortunately, the girl that I was making it for doesn’t want this style hat-UGH! I’m going to make it a unicorn bonnet anyhow and sell it at my upcoming craft fair and just make a typical earflap beanie for Ms. PickyPants.

In stockinette portion my gauge: 8 stitches=2”

I used my horn pattern from unicorn taxidermy…I may add ears…not sure
