I made a few modifications which I will list. Overall, this was fairly easy but a bit tedious. There are a few places on the pattern that didn’t seem correct to me-I don’t see anyone else mentioning that though, so maybe it is just me?
My Row Modification: When I changed a color (after every two rows so that way I wouldn’t have to finish off a color, I just dropped and picked them up) I alternated hdc in only BL and FL to give the separation of colors more definition.
Edging: I did 3dc, skip 2 rows (or stitches) 3dc in next stitch around the entire edge of scarf. If I wanted the scarf to be longer and even wider I’d have added another border edge-second round of edging I put 3dc in between each 3dc group-putting 3dc, ch 2, 3dc in each corner.
Noses: I opted to give a pom pom ball for the noses-I just wasn’t liking the way the noses looked on the finished projects I have seen. so I completed round 27,
Round 28: sc2tog, sc in 3, sc2tog, sc in 3
Round 29: sc2tog, sc in 2, sc2tog, sc in 2
round 30: cluster around to close, finish off
Pattern issues I had:
For the lower jaw-round 31 I joined with right side facing
For the ears I did not work in continuous rounds-I joined and then ch 1 at the beg of each round.
For the eyes I used the bigger hook and used rounds 1-3 and finished off.
