I liked how this turned out so well I think I might just write up the pattern for it. :)

I needed a small project to work on after that long long sweater fiasco. I’m making a patriotic baby dress that will not work for this year because it is already almost the fourth, but as far as I’m concerned-red,white, and blue are ALWAYS in fashion! :)

I am sure there are dresses out there that are similar to what I am envisioning, but my searches yielded zero that work for my vision. So here we go…designing one on limited knitting knowledge.

July 2: Since I am new at this knitting thing I have zero idea if there is a better way to go about the striping. I thought about going up and down…but for that I’d have to bind off and cast on because I want it to flare out…so let us just say 8 balls of yarn, 8 ziplock baggies and one tangled mess is turning out to be quite the nightmare. :)
