Last year, at the white elephant gift exchange I got some Holy Underwear…My neighbor’s son’s old boxer shorts. This year, I plan on using those underwear (pink plaid) to make scarves for some snowmen. bahaha!

I had planned on using a different pattern but it was coming out way to huge in worsted. I’ll just make my own pattern.

So the photo sucks, I’ll take a better one tomorrow. I’m happy with him. Not too bad for a quick project.

Coming soon: Johnny’s Underwear Star Ornaments…they won’t be knitted, but they will still be undergarments.. buahahah! I would like to take this opportunity to say…OMG underwear are like a treasure trove of untapped potential!! What a bunch of fun material we have here! I’m trying not to focus on the fact that my neighbor’s son wore them enough that there were holes in the crotch and the places I’m touching probably were…um…EWWW!

UPDATE: White Elephant Gift Exchange was a huge success! The one who wound up with Johnny’s Underwear Ornament ASSortment was none other than Johnny’s mama who was oddly very excited. I, on the other hand, received the BEST GIFT EVER! A really creepy paper mache clown! He looks great next to my stucco ceiling! :)
