Someone famous that I wish would stop being famous.

Needlefelting-this is my first attempt at it. LOVE it. It’s like playdough..but with yarn.

DS wants me to make this in the likeness of his podiatrist. He is truly a scary man. He revels in the pain he inflicts. He’s in the perfect profession. haha! He’s fun, albeit SCARY as all hell!

Ok, so I was going to take some before felting and after felting pics but I got way too excited and just ran downstairs like a crazy lady as soon as I finished my last dreadlock so I could try this felting thing. FUN. OMG FUN. I wanted it to be dry for tomorrow so I can play with needlefeling the face details! THAT will be a fun birdday present for me, needlefelting! :) WHOHOOO!!!

The possibilities are endless. I am going to make my son a Christmas ornament in the embodiment of his podiatrist. From ex boyfriends to bad neighbors, much fun can be had with this awesomeness. I modeled this head after someone famous(ish). I tried to replicate that creepy smile that he always sports at the end of every commercial…From his perfectly sculpted eyebrows (sorry guys-you are supposed to have some imperfect brows-prefect ones on dudes creep me out). I have actually never tried this man’s product, I’m sure it is very tasty… I’m sure he is a really awesome guy, from what I hear-he is. I just don’t wanna see him in those darn commercials-with his fake little giggle as he throws his head back….eebie jeebies. Anyone wanna take a stab at who I have embodied?

This pattern gets a dbird 2 talons up. If I was a mutant dragonbird and had three talons, it would get a three talons up!! The only error I noted in the pattern was that the bind off was after the felting. I assumed we should bind off first….

UPDATE: I keep this attached to my purse. It is my kleenex holder and I love it. LOVE it. Yesterday someone said, ‘Excuse me, but is that a shrunken head?“ took me a little off guard, but I managed to squeak out an, “of course!” They were quite impressed….or appalled. Not sure which.
