Notes

This is the first time I ever did this type of technique (spiraling the work). I got a little confused how to start the spiral-a photo might have helped me with that. I think the beginning spiral got a tad wonky, but it is now evening out since I figured it out. Instead of ‘back and up’ it’s more like to the right and up…at least for me-maybe because I knit continental? I also find that if I pick up the stitch I want to knit from the spiral and put it on the needle it is easier to knit them together. It’s really fun so far! I love watching the little swirlie take shape!

1-21-15: This is such a cute little project, he’s fun to watch take shape…Is it an iguana? A snail? A funky elf slipper? BETTER! A prehistoric nautilus!

Finished this little cutie while watching evening TV with the family. I love it! For the crochet eyes:
Sport Sweet Delight (Yarn bee)
with black
Magic ring, 6 sc in ring, join with sl st to first sc,
break black, with white, ch 1, 2 sc in each sc around, join with sl st to first sc. Leave a long tail of white, and break white. Use your long tail to embroider the pacman shape and then sew onto your little nautie. :)
