You know you have a winner when MY daughter (the biggest anti-crocheting kid) says, “does it come in blue?” Honey, it comes in any color you want! :)

HUGE issue with this pattern: It worked up WAY too fast!!! (that is really a good thing BUT I thought it would fill my entire time as I waited for my daughter at Kobudo which is an hour and a half…I was done in an hour and ten minutes and that is with checking facebook every once in a while)…

As I sat working the shell rounds I was thinking, “This is way too huge, this is going to be just awful…maybe I should stop and just skip to round 13 already.” I am so glad I stuck to the pattern. It turned out AWESOME! I did add a few extra decreases though, along round 14 as I have a small head. As it was, the hat would have had a 23” circumference so I would have been swimming in it. I did 7 more decreases and it fits me nice and snug…

With 5 additional decreases (than what the pattern calls for) it would have a 21” circumference.
