ETA: When did this pattern become not free?? Hmm…

What a great little pattern! So glad this one was out there! I modified the mane a little, I put 3dc in each chain instead of 2, just a personal preference because mine weren’t curling right, maybe I was crocheting too tight or loose. Instead of making long ones that you fold in the middle I just made some shorter ones and sewed them on here and there till I thought it looked right.

The eyes were a teensy problematic. I did stick with the pattern, however the ending row of black didn’t work for me, so I just looked at the photos for placement and it was just fine. :)

I only called this a medium difficulty because a beginner might have problems with all the different steps, but overall this was a very nice pattern.
