Notes

To cute to not to want to make! I got this as a free download-I see it is a paid pattern now though…And honestly, it seems to be worth it-this is a really nicely written pattern with a plethora of directions for sizes and yarn weights.

I am using a mystery yarn. It seems like acrylic-has a lot of ‘fuzz’ to it much like unforgettable-but is thinner like sock yarn. It is probably really old as I got it from an old deceased woman my grammy knew….It is like a gazillion yards on a cone. It’s pretty though! :)

So I do feel like an idiot though-the first few times I came across teh psso I forgot the slipped stitch was a few stitches away and just passed the one next to where I was at…DOH. I fudged it by just sewing a thread over the few stitches to make it look like I did it right…kinda. I so am not frogging it. :P

Finished it already! All in one day! Now, I have to say I don’t know if I liked the decreases…leaves it kind of bunchy on top and I’m not a fan. ETA: Seeing it in the photos though-I kind of like the bunchy top. So forget that I said that! haha! AND my hat is pretty big even though I chose to do the school aged size which is smaller than my head…But it is really cute and will fit someone with a bigger head than me-which is pretty much every adult. :)
