I donated 4 hats to a fundraiser (raising funds for juvenile diabetes). A rooster hat was one of them. They auctioned off the rooster hat by itself, and apparently everyone wanted one. It sold for $69!!! For one silly little hat!!! The bundle of the remaining 3 hats sold for $197!!!! I’m so thrilled that I donated those hats, and now only wish I’d have donated more. Never, in my wildest dreams, would I have thought they’d be that bid upon! A football, that was signed by one of the Giants that won the superbowl a few years back only got $40. SCORE!
