when casting on for cone SM, CO2, SM, CO2, SM, CO2 SM-then you will KFB before and after each SM instead of first and last on DPN on the increase rounds.

The scoop fit perfect so I didn’t NEED to gather, but I WANTED to gather as it just didn’t look frilly enough for me. So when I sewed the two together I pulled really tight to get it to bunch a bit.

My sweet dd and my sweet dh…they have always had this ‘thing.’ Every night, he faithfully gives her icecream. Never fails. Sometimes she has to remind him-she has left all kinds of strange notes around the house reminding us of her ice cream…This started way back when dh got home from Iraq the first time….

Fast forward to his second deployment to Iraq-and my sweet dh made me vow to always make his girl her ice cream-at that time it was sundaes she was into (it fluctuates between sundaes and cones)….and so I did. I made The Vow to always make sure dd had her ice cream while he was gone….That was back when she was just a wee peanut-7ish…

To this day dd still gets her ice cream. She has a universal sign that means I need it now…she holds an imaginary cone and pretends to lick it. Totally stupid, we do not spoil our kids-but this is her special thing with dad. I hope it never ends. I love it. And so, I shall make her a forever cone. :)

UPdate: When dd asked for her cone tonight, dh whipped this sucker out from behind his back, and said, “your forever cone my dear!”

She just looked at me and said, “MOM!!!!” She loves it! But still demanded the real thing! haha!
