The brioche section that I did is in my blog…warning though, I am a super brioche beginner here…I chose brioche for this extra panel as I wanted to use other colors and then also incorporate them together because I didn’t have enough of any one color in the type of yarn I wanted to use…I also wanted to keep the darn thing reversible…

This is for my son’s girlfriend. She is addicted to yarn apparently..yarn that I have worked with. She has already taken three hats, I’m about to give her a fourth and now she wants a scarf thing. She wears them-ALL OVER so I cannot help but want to make stuff for her! :)

I was going to work in the round but I am unsure about my yarn amount so I figured I’ll do it they way it is written-I can always make the other half another color-which I was waffling about doing anyhow. :) So far I’ve completed two repeats and there is zero issues. This is a breath of fresh air as I’ve just gotten off of a really bad run of crap luck on some patterns that I just couldn’t seem to understand…

I’m really loving the stitch definition for such an easy pattern this is fabulous! Love the reversibility! In heaven! I think I shall do this in multiple pieces-…one longish in grey..and one short in pink and one short in tan….Then I’ll do some brioche pieces to help ‘tie’ them together using this awesome free pattern.

Would you believe I searched my stash and found a tad more of that dark grey? This is perfect because I am realizing I didn’t even have enough for one half of the thing haha! I think I’m good to go now.. :)

I’m making this far more difficult than it needs to be-ok, the above link didn’t work for me because I’ve not done that double brioche yet and although I understood the double knit part the double purl was beyond me-and I couldn’t’ find a tutorial-so I just went with a single regular brioche because I’m a newb.
