This is the very first top pattern I have ever created. I did it just because I had this yarn left over. I wanted to design a top that was constructed from top down, that allowed each person to create their own special size. It allows for extra give in the bust- and JUST the bust (ooh that RHYMES!) and not the back and bust (don’t you HATE when the back bulges too??!!

The down side to this pattern is that it requires some math-but I have some hooktastic formulers (said like Mr. Crabb) that will help you along.

OMG I am in love with this top and I cannot wait to print out the pattern. But that will be in a few days as Easter is upon me and I’ve a heap of work to do.

I am actually going to make it longer, after wearing it a bit I think I’d like an extra three inches. :) Almost done typing up the pattern!

Update: 5-6-14-
After a brief break from this (had to make a freeform blanket and a few other things to clear my mind) I am reworking the pattern to make it flow a little better…I am getting closer to being happy enough with it to get it tested….

5-13 Halfway done with my test before the test, and after a few slight changes to the pattern, I’m pretty happy with how it is turning out. :)
