seed stitch for 4 cm

worked stockinette until it measured 6” then began decrease rounds-divided into 5 equal sections divided by stitch markers and did

1. ssk k to 2 stitches before marker, k2tog (skipping one of the k2tog for the section that was short one stitch)
2. k repeat 1-2 until there are only 3 stitches between marker then k1, k2tog around then k2tog around then break yarn and pull through stitches…

for ear flaps I picked up 16 stitches and worked seed stitch for one inch then began decreasing one stitch on each side every other round until I had four stitches then bind off…

I used a basic hat pattern made some ear flaps and used the horn and ears from the pattern. :)

UPDATE: My son’s girlfriend loved her new hat. She was with us all day for her birdday and she wore this sucker the whole day-even to the mall (and my son was not amused hahaha!). :)
