Test knit for Dani with rainbow CC shades kindly donated by Dani herself, thank you!

Mods: down a needle size for gauge, so 3.5mm body and 3.25mm ribbing. Also I’ve knitted the sleeve length to about the 10 year old size (Noah has long arms like his gran )

Not a mod, but I didn’t use a provisional cast on at the shoulders, but instead picked up the stitches afterwards (Dani does give this option): I’ve come to find that this can look as neat as using live stitches.

Hopefully I have just enough of the rainbow colours left to knit another one in a different Ulysse MC for my youngest granddaughter

2.12 update: a little bit short for Noah in the 8 year old size, so I’ve used up the MC I had left to add an inch or two to the length.

20.02 update: the pullover has now been handed over to granddaughter Orla as Noah has decided that all wool is too itchy . Luckily, Orla is made of hardier stuff! and I’ve just been sent these lovely photos by my dil of her wearing it on their Scottish hols
