Test knit for Johanna - all encompassing pullover with cowl neck, brioche, cables and pockets!

20.1.18: short rows in brioche… wowza!

Mods: slightly deeper armhole (12cm for back and front). Extra sts picked up for sleeves: 23sts each side of cable panel = 60sts (then 10 decrease rows to 40sts). Slightly shorter in the body to start of pockets (15.75”). I’ve knitted the sleeves to the length as written, but I have long arms and they’re not as long as I’d like. If I have any yarn left, I will make these longer (eta: yes, had a bit left, so the ribbed cuffs are about 8”). Cowl: knitted to 8” - this is long enough for me so that it ‘stands up’, rather than doubles over. Cast off the cowl with a regular k1/p1 cast off: I did all the casting off with a 6mm needle.

27.2: I really like everything about this: pattern, fit, yarn - all just great! and it’s snowing! a perfect time to wear it ;)
