Test knit for eri

I am loving this so much already… the black mohair/silk and the midnight blue Fyberspates lace held together!

Pattern: the smocking stitches are quite tricky: I used a fine needle to pick up the strand between the 5th and 6th sts and place on the LH needle to work the k2tog. Also I used a fine needle to pick up the sts for the hem (and cuffs), and ran a pale thread through the relevant pick-up row - made it much easier with the dark yarn.

Mods: knitted slightly longer in the body; also I added Kidsilk lace hems to the cuffs as well as the body.

eta: the first 2 photos have a Prisma filter - this actually shows the lace and the dark navy hue slightly better!
