Test knit for Dani

Mods: my gauge is a bit out for this knit, even with altering the needles slightly… so I haven’t decreased quite so deeply for the yoke (I’ve ended up with a stitch count between the M and L sizes at body/sleeve separation). I have 80 sts for each sleeve at underarm, then have decreased as for the L size. Slightly shorter cuffs.

I’ve carried the CC yarn in the yoke, but haven’t for the body/sleeves: I prefer, with deeper stripes, to do this and knit in the contrasts as I go, weaving in the other ends at the end. Also I find I can get a neater finish in terms of ‘jogless’ stripes doing it this way - though I’m still unable to totally avoid a jog!

FO: a really well-fitting pullover, quite simple in design but with a great front neck detail that gives it a sweat-shirt feel. I’ve been wearing it all week… love it!

Yarn: light and airy: it actually feels like it has cotton content but is 100% recycled wool. Has a slightly tweedy look to it… really nice yarn, I will use it again!
