I’m knitting this on my hols to Cádiz with my sisters and nieces… yes, in 30° temperatures (incidentally, I just missed seeing two elderly Spanish ladies, dressed in black, knitting on the seafront on the next bay.)

The hat is being gifted to niece Freya, who very kindly gave me a reflexology session in exchange

I love the pattern and the fit, and I’m sorting out yarn in my stash for a few more!

eta: I made the pompom with a pompom maker, using mainly the Kidsilk for extra floofiness

eta#2: I’ve realised in retrospect that I only worked one repeat of the repeat bobble section, rather than two! Not sure if I need the extra slouch when I knit this again?
