Remembering a wonderful Spanish holiday last month, with my sisters and nieces… I didn’t actually take this as a holiday knit (as I’d got to a slightly fiddly stage), but I like to think of this as the lightest of summer pullovers, that I would have worn if I could!

Pattern: I couldn’t make the pattern gauge and therefore had to go up a size to a 3mm: in retrospect, I think a 3.25mm might have been a wiser choice! I’ve had to block the pullover quite hard to get the smallest size chest measurement (38.5”): and I knitted the smallest size as the next size up seemed way too wide for me (although I realise that it’s a boxy shape). The shoulders/sleeves are quite fitted in the pattern, and I perhaps could also have made the armholes slightly deeper.

That said, it’s the most beautiful design, with the lotus border and central panel… just lovely!

Mods: my only mod (other than the needle size) is adding an inch or so to the sleeves.
