Used the new Drops Belle for the first time. Absolutely love the color! I can recommend this yarn, it is very soft and is comfy to wear directly on the skin.

I needed a little simple and relaxing project for a change and wanted to make a summer top this year. This top is very easy, it’s basically two rectangles in the lace pattern that are seamed at the shoulders (leaving neckline open) and at the sides (leaving armholes open). Then there are stiches picked up around the armholes to add little sleeves. I only knitted 2-3cm of ribbing around the armholes because I didn’t want real sleeves.

And that’s it. Really quick and easy.
I only needed 4 skeins of yarn (200g) and three days of knitting.

I think the top would also be great to wear at the beach over a bikini or as kind of quick cover up.
