I am knitting this as a gift for a friend. I had a different yarn and pattern cast on…and it did not feel gift-y or festive enough. This yarn was on sale at my LYS and the decision was easy.

The only mod I made was to do a long tail cast-on rather than a cable cast-on called for in the pattern, matched it with EZ’s sewn bind off because I love it.

Overall I’m very happy with this project, the yarn and the pattern - the finished object feels luxurious, yet it was simple and quick to knit. The cupido stitch pattern has a lot of visual interest.
