I’ve never really liked the seaming on these….so I’ve experimented with knitting in the round. This first one is a half-seamed, half-knit-in-the-round version, with the bottoms of the feet and the bottoms of the body and the tops of the shoulders and head seamed, the rest knitted.

I experimented without having to seam the bottoms by casting on 1/2 the stitches, kfb each of the cast on stitches, and then dividing them onto 2 needles (every other one) and then knitting that in the round for the arms.

That worked fine, and I don’t mind the edge it makes (mind it much less than seaming) so I’ll keep at it for the next one.
