this is not the best yarn-pattern combination. they yarn is splitty (curls up on itself but also loosely plied) and the twisted stitch pattern is fun but harder with a splitty yarn.

First sock complete. After finishing the cable motifs pattern, I knit stockinette about one inch before starting the toe decreases.

After the decreases, did the knitted Kitchener from Techknitter.

Finished the second sock - followed the option in the pattern to have each sock a different pattern.

I loved all of the interest from the cabling. The traveling cables were the trickiest/pickiest. There were a couple of times where I dropped a stitch and really gnashed my teeth. Only once did I have to rip back (and I fixed another error where I knit across the sole tbl when I should have just knit regularly).

Overall, I love the pattern - I was surprised it was perfectly stretchy over my heel. It was planned really well - going with an 80 stitch count round with the cables and traveling cables and twisted stitches was the right move. Well done pattern!
