MODS:

Sleeves:

  • Used slip knot cast on for sleeve cuff. I like a snug cuff, so I cast on less sts for the cuff; 42 sts. Held yarn together with elastic thread for the ribbing to keep it in shape. On first k rnd I worked ‘k4, m1’ as many times as possible to get the correct number of sts for the sleeve.
  • Worked inc’s every 14th rnd, which ended up being closer to 5 cm apart than 4 cm. The last inc was done 9 rnds after the second to last one, after which I worked 3 rnds before setting sts aside. Sleeve ended up a little longer than 47 cm.

Body:

  • Cast on using a provisional cast on and worked the main body in st st, thinking to work the final length and ribbing later on. I want to lengthen the sweater, but don’t exactly know how much yet!
  • Worked less colors in the yoke. For the decrease rounds I used either the last color or the one for the next pattern repeat, and I reused one color.
