I decided I wanted this to be a bit bigger and not take as long as it would with dk weight yarn and little needles. So I picked a trusted bulky weight and used size 13 needles. In 6 days I had a blanket that almost blocks out to the size of a twin blanket. This should be a great blanket to snuggle on the couch with.
