I bought some yarn for a project for my sister and then she decided she wanted something else. So…I’m going to put this Lion Brand Heartland Tweed to good use and make myself a comfy weekend sweater to wear with skinny jeans. I already like the short row technique in the instructions and it’s a really well written pattern.

Decided to shorten the body so that the sweater wasn’t down to my knees. Ended the body 3 series of repeats early and only did about 2 inches of garter stitch border and it hits me (unblocked) at my hips and should get slightly longer. Loving the shape and how it flares out slightly. Such a great knit.
