My Dad is going through a second round of chemo and gets cold a lot. I wanted to make a blanket that was warm (wool), machine washable and dryable and that felt cozy on him. I also love the seafoam stitch and how quick it knits up. Instead of going big on yarnovers I used the stitch like I have for a scarf.

Casted on 86 stitches and only went up to a double yarn over in the pattern so it wouldn’t have too many gaps/holes.

A warning about using the Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick: it pilled like crazy. I like how the blanket ended up looking but I hate how much fuzz it left in my washer, dryer and on the floor.
