Notes

This is a easy to follow pattern that grows into a beautiful sweater. The fit is really nice and I love the finished sweater. No photos of the 100% finished sweater yet, but I wore it from August to October and love it!

Gauge
On needles 4.0 mm: Before blocking 22 sts/10 cm. Gauge after blocking 23 sts/10 cm.

Modifications

  • I made false side seams, two next to each other on each side of body to prevent the linen to twist. This seems to work fine. I followed this tutorial.
  • I knitted a longer body since I’m tall (179 cm). I began ribbing when body measured 42 cm.
  • I made an i-cord bind off for the neck which I think makes the sweater just a slightly more elegante. :)

Yarn
A 70% linen and 30% cotton yarn from Karin Öberg. The cotton strand is slightly lighter than the linen which is a nice effect.
