Notes

Began by following the pattern’s advice to practice with yarn that produces well-defined and easy-to-pull-out stitches. Definitely worth the trouble! Made sample mitt to eight rounds beyond thumb.

Decreases fall on the palm side.

Began for real this evening!

No need to cut the yarn after doing the initial ribbing: just leave a long enough tail at the start, and use that to sew the ends together.

Even rows of ribbing end with live stitch opposite the tail.

Rounds are done in spirals.
