Notes

A sad ending to this, my favourite wrap ever that I made: it was lost after an overnight flight to Geneva, Switzerland, six months after I finished it. Probably dropped while going through customs at the airport. Reported missing (with photographs) but never found. Searched the lost-and-found scarves in person before returning home. No luck.

It used exactly three skeins, and I have exactly three skeins left, but don’t have the heart yet to make a replacement.

Today I had the heart to make a replacement, but the story took another sad turn: the lost wrap must actually have used four skeins, not three, because I definitely bought six (verified in an email I sent: bought two skeins, then went back and bought four more), and I definitely only have two left. I’m updating the number of skeins used to 4.

Found a pattern for a “single skein triangle scarf” that has a similar mix of open-work and bent-over stitches. Starting that now (project title “Diadomina triangle scarf”)
