Got about halfway done with a 4mm hook, then decided to start over again with a 3mm in order to get denser stitches. Like an idiot, I didn’t take a picture showing how far I’d gotten (did all the colour work at the bottom: wide cream stripe, narrow tan, and not-so-wide cream).

Finished last night so I could use it today! Well, not quite finished: still need to leave some ends in near the bottom, but that doesn’t show. Leather handles are more of a navy blue than the midnight blue of the bag, but it still looks okay.
