While I love the mittens in this book they all turn out too big, the small size fits large man hands.

The darker green is from one of the first few batches of Kettle Dyed and it was the first one that really grabbed my attention. When I saw it I immediately thought that Bob was going to be great at dying yarn. Wendy reluctantly let me buy the skein and I saved it to make a special project for her.

These mittens were intended to be a Christmas present for 2012, but they required enormous will power to knit which sometimes over the past year and a half I didn’t have. I did ,however unwittingly, manage to finish them in time for the fifth anniversary of LYS.
