Notes

Pattern calls for too much yarn! I should have made myself the smaller size since there is no waist shaping (or any other shaping for that matter.) I dropped the v-neck deeper and reduced the size of the armseye too since the pieces finished to pattern specs had huge armholes and a shallow v-neck. I used Japanese short-rows for the collar and I added a few rows to the collar to work with the deeper neckline - also used size 6 needles for collar per Raveler bflaible. Made the total length a little longer than specified in pattern as well and still used less than 5 skeins. I followed directions for a smaller sleeve since the fit of the body was already boxey and i didn’t want loose sleeves too. Not crazy about the color or the pooling of this yarn in general - considering that I really liked it in the skein. I’ll call it my ugly cammo sweater and give it away if someone just says they like it. (I do love the way the yarn feels all washed and blocked though…it’s got a lovely cozy bounce … so it will be comfy to wear.) Finished measurement is 38” at bust or waist. The back is where it is too big for me. Will keep that in mind for my next sweater.
