This has been a labor of . I started the blanket right after my RN to BSN 2017 summer graduation. The blanket was one of my WIP traveling to the beautiful Italy. I am knitting the blanket for my friend, Irene’s 80th birthday present. C/O 87 stitches and held yarn double. I used the Irene dish/wash cloth pattern and then began the pattern for the lap blanket.

8/17/17 8 1/2 repeats of the Gifts Lap Blanket. Hoping to have enough yarn to complete 12 -14 repeats. Measures 32 1/2 (W) x 53 (L) inches. Knit 12 pattern repeats. Donation made in honor of Irene, a lovely lady celebrating her 80th birthday.
