Eye stalk was fun to make and the mantle turned out great. Couldn’t really figure out how to sew the five top tentacles on so just ran a thread through them all and left it for the lower hood to hold them in place. Two colour shell was surprisingly easy but definitely put me off doing colourwork. Blocked the lower hood and the shell before kitchener to tidy them up.

Assembly was painful as expected. I found sewing the eyes on first helped with positioning the mantle. Pinned the shell closed and pinned the top of the mantle on as well to make it easier to achieve anything resembling symmetry. Ended up attaching tentacles to the eyes to fit them on.
