9-20: They’re done and I’m delighted. This is a fun knit. It never gets boring, yet it’s some seriously good, quick, satisfaction. The best football game knitting I’ve found (although I also knit this on planes and in carpool lines). In a pinch, you could knock a pair out in a day if you needed a gift. I didn’t find a single thing not to like about the pattern.

A friend did this with a crochet edge and I thought that was delightful.

9-1: I finally decided to do this project in Elliebelly Pixie in the Crayon colorway. I may be insane, as this may look horrible when I get to the cables. But I decided to go for it instead of using a safer choice -- I can always rip them out and start over if they are too much. The start was a stretch of dark orange yarn, but there is no way I’m going to be able to make these match.
