Notes

2-9-14: Frogged while watching speed skating and cross country skiing. If you are really bored, you can watch me executing the aerial unwind here.

I’m happy to have finished my first Ravellenic event! This yarn will be going to Raveller kaylacherie88, via the Olympic Torch Passing Event, where aerial unwinders can send their yarn on to another knitter, in the true spirit of the games.

I knitted this almost to completion and decided it was a horrible color for me to even contemplate wearing and the pattern wasn’t great with the yarn. So, come the Opening Ceremony of the 2014 Olympics, or shortly thereafter, this baby is toast.

I will be starting a thread on the Elliebelly Group for aerial unwinders who, in the spirit of the Olympic Games where the torch is passed from hand to hand and country to country, want to pass their newly released yarn on to someone who can put it to good use. I’ll have the thread up by the time the games start -- please feel free to come by and use it, whether you are a group member or not.
