Someone showed me the pattern for mini lion and I loved the mane with picots but i don’t like doing fiddly projects flat + seaming so i used chichester’s body (again!) then cast on just 21 stitches for the mane, and added a 3 stitch i-cord tail.

He’s malabrigo lace held double, and the orange is a split strand of the little samples of wool you get for rug making, it’s the only orange stuff i had to hand.
