Pics taken on location in Scotland - more proper knitsy ones to come…!
I’ve been told it has hints of daggers and arrows, and the colour of the yarn is very like steel or pewter, so I couldn’t really call it something elfy ;)
Thought I’d go for a cowl instead of a shawl for once, made it big enough (once it was blocked) that I can twist it and double it up around my neck so it sits quite snugly, although it’s no use if my jacket is a v-neck. Having a bit of an issue with the edges curling outwards when it’s worn undoubled because the decreases in the centre section pull it in, it kind of works on the edge with the fan/scallop but not on the cast-on edge, even after adding a row of double crochet to stabilise it.
It does fit around my shoulders so it might be handy over a light top when we’ve got slightly warmer weather…
