I really like the ear flap construction because then ear flaps actually cover the right part of the ear.

Also the brim decreases make the cap fit so nicely around baby’s head.

And the tie is in the right place that it stayed on - all the babies who tried to pull it off gave up after a few tries cause it didn’t budge.

I listed difficulty as medium just because it involves short rows and it is top down. If there was a rating in between medium and easy I would choose that :).
