My first attempt at designing… :)
Hoping to publish this pattern if I can figure out how!

7/28 - I’ve been working on the chart for a few days already. Started knitting this morning, but I’m going to start over with more contrasting colors. I originally used Antique Lace and Worn Denim, but the latter is paler than I expected, and I’m concerned that the design won’t be as visible as I’d like for it to be :) Will probably use Baroque Violet instead.

7/31 - I finished the first mitten this morning!! So excited. I wasn’t sure how my chart would translate to stitches, but I’m happy with the result. On to mitten #2!

8/1 - I added a photo of the front and back of the first mitten.

8/2 - Finished the second mitten! It’s blocking now. So happy with the way these have turned out!
