This pattern is definitely meant for a fairly inexperienced knitter, as it is much more simplified than necessary.

There is no sleeve cap, it’s supposed to be set-in sleeves. I added one with a shaped castoff.

Also, the shawl collar was weird. It called to do the shaping with shorter and shorter rows, and finally you could sort of see all the pickups. If you did longer and longer rows, the pickups would all be hidden on the bottom row of knitting under the fold of the collar.

In addition, the sleeves seem to be designed to fit a man who is CRAZY BUFF!! The final stitch count was supposed to be 88 but I knit it with something like 50 stitches.
