Pattern from Hand knit Christmas booklet.

OH MY GOD, SO BORING. Not helped by knitting it slightly larger than suggested (I had more wool), so when working the ruffle I turned a 250 stitch row into a 750 stitch row. And then decided to do a picot cast off, during which I ran out of yarn and had to switch to something else in a slightly different colour.

I moaned about knitting this all over Facebook for days, but it looked so lovely when it was finished that I immediately cast on another one! (See also: Clapotis.)
