Making a mini size to fit a newborn… hopefully. Finished these in the car on the way to seeing the recipient! That was a close one.
R2: k18 instead of k22
total st count 60 instead of 68 after completing repeats.
R15 for 1-6 mo directions: k24 instead of k28
total st count 64 instead of 72 after R16.
R17: k24 instead of k28, follow all other directions, k22 instead of k26.
total st count 56 instead of 64.
R19: k20 instead of k24, follow all other directions, k18 instead of k22.
total st count 48 instead of 56.
Skipped the last two K rows of shoe section.
PU 10 on either side of back seam instead of 14, keep all other CO counts the same. Total number of sts 38 (2 at first + 10 PU + 1 back seam + 10 PU + 15 Backward Loop CO). Follow all other directions for straps. At this gauge, making a button hole is kind of pointless. I will be skipping it and sewing on a snap instead.
Count off 8 sts instead of 9, PU a total of 10 sts along front edge. Knit as directed until step 7. PU an additional 22 sts around sides and heel (total st ct 34 instead of 40). For the smaller size I wanted a smaller cuff, so I knit 21 rows of ribbing instead of 26. I did a regular ribbed BO instead of the one described in step 9 because I didn’t like the look with that one.
